Default Hulking Stone Elemental Farming?

I heard that farming these in hard mode outside of Sardelac Sanitarium can be pretty good, does anyone still do this on warriors or is it nerfed now or sumthing?

It's not nerfed in ,,normal'' way... Just too many people farm there and drops are worse than 2-3 months ago. And assassin can farm there much faster than warrior.

A Ranger or a Rit can also farm there pretty fast. But yeah, drops aren't what they used to be.

Yeah you can. I get one-two golds every three runs or so, and warrior tomes drop pretty often. And I got Elite Ele tomes from the ele boss. And there's plenty of merchable grape. For a short run (10-15 mins max) the income is pretty good.

Farming them is also good for granite slabs; granite prices are nice and high thanks to Destroyer weapons.

Both of these work excellently for that area

Assassin (video included at bottom)

Warrior (video included under the "notes" section)

If you take a vampiric sword to switch to you can even deal with the crown's of thorns only 1 at a time though.

And you don't have to follow the guides exactly. I manage the warrior build with only 13 tactics.

It's definately worth it. I get 2-3k per run (10-15 minute warrior runs,10 minute assassin runs) with some gold drops, lockpicks, tons of granite and charcoal, tomes, elite tomes, even rubies and black dye have dropped for me.

Or, you can just kill everything, and rake in the tomes, golds, and lockpicks like nobody's business. I've gotten a gold weapon or lockpick or tome from every kind of enemy out there. Best thing is that there's a merchant you can sell junk to, so you never have to stop because of a full inventory or leave anything behind on the ground.

And this was before the Word of Healing buff. Bring Live Vicariously and Balthazar's Spirit, and Word for your elite, and it's even easier. Probably TOO easy, but oh well...

that and lockpicks seem to drop often for me there, those are the only reasons I farm there with my W/Rt. either than that, its not worth it to me, IMO.

Who's the "them" that's doing the running away now? Haven't seen too much of that, with the exception of Grawl Ulodytes.
